Course Description :
Introducing students to the ageing phenomenon, its spread, consequences and challenges. Students will be introduced to major social work skills pertinent to the elderly population. Students will be expected to define the various disciplines and their roles in providing services to older adults, and also identify stereotypical attitudes and behaviors toward the elderly that may have negative consequences for this population in our society. Students are asked to submit assignments based on actual cases
